The cadaveric prayer and oath ceremony was conducted on 04/10/2023 for the 1st MBBS students 2023-2024 batch in the Anatomy department. Dr. K. Ashalatha professor and HOD of the department of anatomy, invited the chief guest Dr. R. Viswa Kumar professor and HOD of Biochemistry and vice principal of administration & academics  Dr. P. Sashikala professor & HOD of Physiology was guest. Dr. K. Ashalatha professor and HOD of the department of anatomy spoke a few words about body donation  Dr. L. Hema professor of anatomy, spoke about the importance of body donation and the value of a cadaver. Dr. R. Suman Babu professor of anatomy conducted the cadaveric prayer.  Students were made to swear on a cadaveric oath by Dr. P. Viswa Kumar. The other faculty members were Dr. P. Sharmila Bhanu, Dr. Ch. Santhi, Dr. Y. Nissi Monica, and Mr. K. Devi Sankar. photographs were taken while conducting the cadaveric oath and the faculty with the students. The program ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. L. Hema.
