For the first time in the history of Narayana Medical College, we started cadaveric prayer and oath programme. We the teachers along with Non-Teaching staff of dissection hall and 250 students performed this progrmme b/w 11.00 AM – 1.00 PM on 10-09-2018 in the dissection hall.

We prayed the almighty and the souls of great men/women for offering their flesh to further their medical knowledge.

An oath was pledged by the students and teachers to treat the cadaver with respect, passion and dignity as we use it to further their professional goals. This shows the respect to the cadaver who will always remain as their first teacher.
