The department of psychiatry and NSS Unit Narayana Medical College Nellore, organized Elocution competition on the occasion of Word Suicide Prevention Day on 05.09.2022 from 3.00.pm to 5.00 pm.

Around 30 Students from Narayana Medical College, Narayana Dental College, Narayana Pharmacy College, and Narayana Nursing College participated in the competition. Each student was given 5 minutes for presentation. The Judges selected the best 3 winners.

The program was attended by Dr.S.P.Rao, DEAN Narayana Medical College, Dr.Ramesh Chandra Balaji, Consultant Psychiatrist, Nellore Town, Dr.V.V.Seshamma, Prof & HOD Department of Psychiatry, Narayana Medical College, Dr.E.Ananda Reddy Professor of Psychiatry, Narayana Medical College, Dr.C.Kumar, Professor & HOD Department Community Medicine, Narayana Medical College and  Dr.M.Prasad, NSS Coordinator. Narayana Medical College, Nellore.

The following prizes were given

1. First Prize: U.Bhavya Sri, 4^th year Pharmacy
2. Second Prize : M.Sarayu Reddy, 3^rd year MBBS.
3. Third Prize: Yuva Sree, 1^st year Pharma.D
