The APSNCON-2018 is the first inceptional conference of Andhra Pradesh Society of Nephrology. It has been conducted on 3rd and 4th march, 2018 at Narayana Medical College Campus, Nellore. The conference was attended by 80 Nephrologists from all over the state.

The chief guest for the conference was Dr.P.V.Vijaya Raghavan, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Ramachandara Medical College and Research Institute. The guest of honour was Dr.Ravi Raju, former Vice-Chancellor of NTR University of Health Sciences. The inaugural function was presided over by the Principal of Naryana Medical College Dr.G.V.Nagi reddy, the Organizing Secretary of APSNCON Dr.K.Praveen Kumar, Incharge Medical Superintendent Dr.Sreeram Satish, Director of Narayana Medical Institutions Dr.G.Subramanyam, CEO Dr.Vijaya Mohan Reddy.

The APSNCON 2018 is organized by Department of Nephrology, Narayana Medical College headed by Dr.K.Praveen Kumar and Nellore Nephrology Forum. The AP Medical Council has granted 4 CME credit hours for the conference. The Scientific program of APSNCON 2018 is a scientific feast and lauded by everyone and especially the lectures on Evolution of Nephrology in India & Medical Ethics by a living legend & walking encyclopaedia Dr. M.K.Mani Sir are one of the best lectures a Nephrologist can ever attend. Even the other Guest lectures delivered by reputed speakers are of great importance and appreciated by the community. The cultural activities and the food feast is appreciated by all the delegates, especially the banquet dinner on the sand beaches of Bay of Bengal was described as an enthralling experience.
