An Anti-ragging awareness programme was conducted at Narayana medical college on 9th November 2016, on occasion of National legal services day. The programme was presided by Dr.G.VeeraNagi Reddy, principal of the college and Chief-guest was by Smt. C.Satyavani, Secretary-cum- Senior Civil Judge, District Legal Services Authority, and Guests of honour were Smt.M. Shoba rani, Principal Junior Civil Judge, Sri.T.Vasudevan, IV Addl.Judicial Magistrate of I Class and Smt. Kameswari, Member Lok adalath, Nellore. The staff and students were addressed about the Anti- ragging act, Sexual harassment act ,Nirbhaya act and other legal acts with implications in regular daily activities. The programme brought awareness among the students about the anti ragging measures taken by the government, institute in curbing the ragging in the campus. Dr.B.L.Kudagi, Vice-principal of the college proposed Vote of thanks and programme ended with National anthem.
