The department of Urology was started in the year 2006. Since its inception the department is fully active in providing advanced tertiary care to urology patients.

It is the first department in the state to start renal transplant programme in a private medical college. It is one of the first private medical colleges in the state to start M.Ch Genitourinary surgery (Urology) course with intake of 2 students per year.

It is one of the busiest departments in the hospital performing more than 250 surgeries per month.
