On 12^th Dec 2021 one day state wide annual Post Graduate CME was being organized in joint allocation with Department of Psychiatry, Narayana Medical College, Nellore and Nellore Mind Club under the aegis of Indian Psychiatric Society, Andhra Pradesh State branch. The event was hosted in Grey’s lecture gallery in Narayana Medical College on online ( Virtual ). AP Medical Council granted 4 credit hours for this event. 90 Post Graduate students participated in this day long online CME with great enthusiasm.

The programme was scheduled between 9 AM  to till 6 PM. The programme was comprised of 4 lectures and 1 workshop. Programme started with inauguration function. Inaugural function was started with welcoming judges on the stage. Lighting of lamp was done by Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Later programme was continued with the address of the guests and finally programme was conducted with singing of national anthem. Theme of CME is ‘Up your skills in Psychiatry with experts’.

In the CME first session was on communication skill by Dr.K.Rami Reddy in this class he highlighted about importance of communication skills. In subsequent session different topics on conceptual learning, psycho social management of Dementia were dealt in meticulous way. Last session of CME is workshop on Mental Health Care Act,2017. In this session different Acts explained for PG students by the speaker  Dr.Suresh Badamath and there was excellent participation from PG students and they clarified many doubts about the Act.

Programme ended with Valedictory function which was preceded by Secretary of IPS AP chapter and programme was ended with vote of thanks by Organising Secretary and programme was concluded with singing National Anthem.
