We are delighted and Honored to share the success of our zonal CME, KERANOA 09/06/2024 organized by the Department of Ophthalmology at Narayana Medical College and Hospitals, Nellore under APMC / Dr. YSRUHS Zonal CME 2024.

It has been an enriching experience, filled with valuable insights and knowledge. This program stands at the forefront of basic fundamentals and skills in the specialized field of cornea.

Designed for PG’s and dedicated Ophthalmologists this program offers a comprehensive exploration of cutting-edge research, state of art technologies, and techniques in corneal diagnostics and therapeutics.

Our esteemed organizing secretary Dr.R.Sudha Professor & Head of the Department of department of Ophthalmology, Narayana Medical College whose dedication was integral to the success of our Programme .

The star attention of our CME Programme was Dr.J.K.Reddy Sir who is the Director – Technical of Sankara Eye care institutions, India.  Sir has done fellowship in Cornea and has over 30 years of clinical experience and has performed around 1 lakh surgeries . He is also Co-inventer of Infocus  IOL, Inefnite IOL, Sedeo excimer laser for Transepithelial PRK in sitting position .He has also  re- engineered CL-UVR, CL-532 and RIL (Phakic IOL) of Appasamy associates .His ongoing research are on Kerato prosthesis , Endo implant artificial Endothelial implant with Haptics .

Other speakers Dr.G.Vishnu Teja , Dr.Raghava Preetham , Dr. Lalitha Siva Jyothi  , has also enhanced us with their Clinical skills and Management in the field of Cornea .

Over all , This Corneal CME Programme has served students as a Cornerstone for advancing knowledge and skills.
