CINEC10th AP IRIA Workshop
Narayana Medical College along with Nellore Chapter of IRIA has Co-hosted the Workshop on Friday 30.08.2024 at Narayana Medical College.
Principal and trust members have provided all facilities for the smooth completion of workshop.
- Anatomy AC Demo Hall: 6 couches and high end Ultrasound machines were organized for hand on demonstration of Liver Elastographyb About 110 to120 delegates were divided into 6 batches.
- Initially lecture on Liver Elastography lecture given by Dr.Uma Maheswara Reddy. Subsequently experts from National and State level have given live demonstration of Liver Elastography.
- Dandamudi sreenivas from Viajayawada gave a lecture on VEXUS usg ( venous execss ) and its applications in the emergency scenario to assess fluid depletion and shock syndromes
- Inauguration program was conducted in the Gray’s Lecture hall from 11.15am to 11.30am and dignitaries like Principal Narayana Medical College and Medical Superintendent Narayana General Hospital, APMC Observer Dr.Ashok from IRIA, National speakers etc., inaugurate the Workshop by Lighting and Prayer song. Subsequently HOD has given welcome address and briefed about the Workshop and Two Days Conference.      Dr.Uma Maheswara Reddy given vote of thanks.
- Professor Boopathy Vijaya Raghavan from Coimbatore has given a lecture on Perianal Ultrasound and followed by live demo.
- Karthikeya Nathiya has also given a lecture on Perianal Fistula and showed several abnormalities in this region.
- Preetham Interventional Radiologist has given brief lecture on TRUS for Prostate.
- Raghav Aggarwal New Delhi has given live demo on TRUS
- Both Preetham and Dr.Raghav Aggarwal has shown how to perform TRUS Biopsy on experimental model.
- APMC Observer Dr Ashok ( IMA Nellore) expressed happiness at the lectures and hands on training in the Workshop.
- Lunch, Tea, Snacks etc., were organized for all the delegates.
Workshop concluded smoothly by 6.00 PM
