๐Ÿ“Œ Brief Objective

Scholarships are of great importance to all students who are unable to pay their fees because of various financial burdens on the family. Under this scheme, full fee reimbursement benefits will be provided to approximately 14 lakh students across the state.

๐ŸŽฏ Benefits to the Citizens

Financial assistance will be provided to students who wish to pursue higher education but are unable to pay their fees due to financial constraints.


The reimbursement amount is directly credited into the mothers' bank accounts of eligible students in four installments every year.

โœ… Eligibility

  • Students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Minorities, Kapus, Economically Backward Classes, and Differently-Abled categories are eligible.
  • Students whose annual family income is less than โ‚น2.5 lakh are eligible.
  • Families possessing up to 10 acres of wetland and 25 acres of dry land are eligible.
  • There is no income limit for families engaged in sanitation work or professionally dependent on taxi, auto, and tractor driving.
  • Income taxpayers are not eligible under this scheme.
  • Initially applicable to students pursuing courses such as: B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, MBA, MCA, B.Ed and similar programmes.

The educational institutions in which the students are enrolled will apply for fee reimbursement on behalf of eligible students.

๐Ÿ“Œ Brief Objective

This scheme aims to improve the Gross Enrolment Rate (GER), provide quality higher education, ensure continuation of students in higher education, and equip them with essential skills for their future.

๐ŸŽฏ Benefits to the Citizens

  • The Government provides hostel and mess charges for eligible BPL students.
  • ITI students receive โ‚น10,000 per year.
  • Polytechnic students receive โ‚น15,000 per year.
  • Degree students receive โ‚น20,000 per year.
  • Full fee reimbursement is provided for SC/ST students irrespective of the course.

โœ… Eligibility

  • Students pursuing Polytechnic, ITI, Degree, PG, and Ph.D programmes are eligible.
  • Students should be enrolled in Government, Government-Aided institutions, or Private Colleges affiliated with State Universities/Boards.
  • The family's annual income should be less than โ‚น2.5 lakh per annum.
  • Beneficiaries should possess wetland below 10 acres, agricultural land below 25 acres, or combined land holdings below 25 acres.
  • Beneficiaries should not own any four-wheelers (Car, Taxi, Auto, etc.).
  • Government employees are not eligible. However, sanitary workers are eligible irrespective of salary or recruitment status.
  • Families receiving pension benefits are not eligible.
