The Department of Pathology organized the 6th IAPM AP PATHCON 2024 Conference and Workshop on the 14th, 15th, and 16th of September 2024.

Over around 500 delegates attended this conference.

The main speaker was Dr. Roberto Salgado, Anatomic Pathologist, Belgium and a member of the WHO Editorial Board for the WHO Classification of breast tumors and gave his talk on Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes in breast carcinoma and also conducted a workshop.
This would be beneficial for the treatment of breast carcinoma patients and determines the prognosis of the patient.

Dr Nalini Bansal, Director, IGHP, Gurgaon oration on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in Pathology followed by Dr. Ranjini Chakravarthy, Managing Director, C-Path Labs, Hyderabad.
Symposium on Precision Oncology was conducted the next day. The speakers included
Dr K Durga, Professor & HOD, Dept. of Pathology, Narayana Medical College, Nellore
Dr Sudha Murty, Lab Director/HOD – Histopathology, Yoda Diagnostics
Dr. M. Shankari, Consultant Molecular Pathologist, Vijaya Diagnostic Centre, Hyderabad.

 A Souvenir was released by the Principal, of Narayana Medical College and Hospital Dr.P.Srinivasulu Reddy, on this occasion, the college Dept of Pathology received 2 gold medal Awards
1. Assistant Professor Dr. S. Manasalakshmi secured 1st Prize in the Young Scientist award
2. ⁠Our postgraduate Dr. Akhila secured 1st Prize in Proffered paper.

We have successfully conducted both conferences and workshops.
