As per the directions of the National Medical Commission, New Delhi and as a part of Swachhata Pakhwada – Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2023, a massive cleanliness drive led by people is envisaged to be held on 1st Oct ’23, at 10.00 am across the country as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the eve of his birth anniversary on 2nd Oct ’23.

NSS Unit of Narayana Medical College has taken the initiative to conduct an awareness programme and a cleanliness drive from Medicover Hospital to NTR Nagar throughout this rally the participants created the awareness among the public using slogans and by cleaning the streets.

Dr. P. Sreenivasulu Reddy, Principal, Narayana Medical College and Dr.R Vishwa Kumar, Vice Principal of Narayana Medical College addressed the participants regarding the importance of Swatchatha Hi Seva. A total of 38 NSS volunteers have participated in this programme. The programme was supervised by NSS programme coordinator, Dr.M.Prasad, Associate Professor of Biochemistry.
