Program on Evil Effects of Non-Wearing of Helmets

As per the directions from the Dr YSR UHS Vijayawada, The NSS Unit of Narayana Medical College, Nellore, successfully conducted an impactful program on the “Evil Effects of Non-Wearing of Helmets” on July 29, 2024, from 10 AM.

We were honoured to have Shri M Bala Murali Krishna, RTO, Nellore, as the Chief Guest, who delivered an insightful lecture on the critical importance of wearing helmets for road safety.

Dr P Sreenivasulu Reddy, Principal, Dr R Viswa Kamar, Vice Principal, Dr D Bala Krishna, NSS Coordinator and Mr Poorna Chandra, RTO Inspector were present for the event.

Around 250 MBBS Students participated in the program

Program Highlights:

  • Keynote Lecture: Shri M Bala Murali Krishna addressed the audience on the dangers and severe consequences of not wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers.
  • Safety Awareness: The program emphasized the role of helmets in preventing serious injuries and fatalities, highlighting real-life examples and statistics.
  • Interactive Session: Attendees engaged with the Chief Guest, asking questions and discussing ways to promote helmet use and road safety.

The event aimed to raise awareness about the life-saving benefits of wearing helmets and to encourage safe riding practices among the community.
