On the eve of World Suicide Prevention Day, the Department of Psychiatry along with the NSS Unit, Narayana Medical College conducted a rally with the slogan “Suicide is Preventable” on 10th September 2024.

Students and staff alike took to walking through campus, united in the message of hope, support, and care for one’s mental health. Outreach in understanding signs that indicate mental distress and knowing how to reach out were part of the event.

This, in turn, helps to collectively remove the stigma from mental health and makes it a community where no person ever has to feel alone. Let us keep talking, support each other, and remember that help is always there. ?
