The Family Adoption Programme for the 2025 batch of Narayana Medical College was conducted on 18 December 2025 at Thotapalligudur, Nellore District.About 80 students have adopted 3 families each. The activities included household survey and family profiling, assessment of socio-demographic characteristics, identification of environmental and occupational health hazards, nutritional assessment, screening for common non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health assessment, health education on hygiene, nutrition, lifestyle modification, and utilization of government health schemes, along with referral of identified cases to appropriate health facilities.
