The Family Adoption Programme for the 2023 MBBS Part-I batch (248 students)of Narayana Medical College was implemented at Velamavaridinne on December 19. The programme involved household visits, comprehensive family profiling, collection of socio-demographic information, evaluation of environmental and nutritional conditions, identification of prevalent health problems, screening for common non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health assessment, delivery of health education, and referral of needy individuals to appropriate health facilities.
