The Family Adoption Programme for the 2025 batch of Narayana Medical College was conducted on 6 March 2026 at Thotapalligudur in Nellore District. As part of the initiative, each student from the 2025 batch adopted three families.

The programme included a comprehensive household survey and family profiling, covering socio-demographic assessment, identification of environmental and occupational health risks, and nutritional evaluation. Students also carried out screening for common non-communicable diseases, along with maternal and child health assessments.

In addition, health education sessions were conducted focusing on hygiene, nutrition, lifestyle modification, and awareness of government health schemes. Identified cases requiring further care were referred to appropriate health facilities.
