Professor Dr. G. Veera Nagi Reddy, M.D. (Forensic Medicine), as Principal, Narayana Medical College is accredited as an eminent forensic expert in Andhra Pradesh. He was born on 15th December, 1948 in Allgadda town, Kurnool District. He obtained MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Diploma in Forensic Medicine from Kurnool Medical College, M.D. Forensic Medicine from Guntur Medical College.
He served in many Govt. Medical Colleges and Private Medical Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh and assumed charge as Principal of Narayana Medical College. During his experience 35 years in Forensic Medicine as Tutor, Assistant Professor, Professor and as Vice Principal 10 years. He was examiner Under Graduates (MBBS) since 1987 and Post Graduate Examiner in Forensic Medicine since 1993 in various universities of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Gujarat States.He has conducted the South India Medico Legal Conference (SIMLA) in the year 2010 and appreciated by all the medico legal experts of South India.
He is life member of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine since 1981 and presented No. of papers in National and Regional conference of Forensic Medicine. He was appreciated by the Judicial and Police Department for his expert contribution as forensic expert.He trained No. of Postgraduates during his tenure as Asst. Professor and Professor of Forensic Medicine.
My vision is to bring up Narayana Medical College as one of the pioneer institution in the country.
