A one day session was conducted for post graduates on 25-07-2018 on “Basics in Research Methodology” as part of the curriculum. The session was opened by Dr.Pratap tharayan , Retd Professor of Psychiatry from Christian Medical college and Director Cochrane South East Asia with introduction on Evidence based medicine and various studies relating to Evidence based Medicine. The session was followed by Dr.Thimbu, Professor of General Medicine from CMC, Vellore. The session covered various study methods and designs and an insight into basic statistics was given to all the post graduates. The session also highlighted about plagiarism and various software tools in detection and preparation of Manuscript for publication.
