Curriculum implementation support program -II (CISP-II) was conducted online at Narayana Medical College on 22nd & 23rd September by the Medical education Unit of the institute under the aegis of MCI regional centre, Visakhapatnam. The programme was inaugurated by Dr.Devi Madhavi, coordinator, Regional centre MEU of Visakhapatnam and Dr.PJ Srinivas was appointed as observer of the CISP-II by MCI. Twenty eight participants were enrolled in the program and commenced sharply at 8:30 am with pre-test for all the participants to judge the knowledge of the participants about CSIP. Icebreaking and Introduction of the session was done by Dr SP Rao, Dean & the resource faculty of the MEU also presented the topics in CSIP which included CBME, GMR, Indian Medical graduate, Competencies and objectives, Teaching learning methods, Integration & alignment. Dr.Mahidhar Reddy highlighted about the Early Clinical Exposure, Dr.E.Anand Reddy on Electives and Dr.S V Phanindra on Foundation course and AETCOM module on the first day of the programme. The sessions on the second day included Log book & Feedback, Skills training, Assessment in CBME, Curricular governance and Student Doctor – Clinical Teaching. The program concluded with post test & feedback session from the participants. There was an active participation, Group activity with interactive sessions from the participants, resource faculty and observer throughout the programme. The program was completed successfully and majority opined that the program was highly informative and useful.
