Department of Ophthalmology organized a CME programme, sponsored by the Dr. NTR University of Health  Sciences, on 21 Sept, 2014.   Dr. G. Chandrasekhar, Professor & Head of Ophthalmology, organized the programme.   Dr. V. Chandrasekhar, Professor & Head of Community Medicine and Medical Education coordinated the programme.   The theme of the CME was GLAUCOMA.

    About 30 postgraduates from S.V Medical College, Tirupati, PES Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Kuppam, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa attended the programme. The following speakers were Resource Persons.

Dr.Vasantha discussed about gonioscopy, tonometry.  Dr.Reddy discussed about clinical examination of optic disc, imaging in glaucoma and management of glaucoma.  In the afternoon clinical case discussions were conducted. Thus, Dr.G.Chandraekhar, organized a very good CME Programme.
