At Narayana Medical College, the Department of Respiratory Medicine is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of lung and breathing disorders. We focus on accurate diagnosis, advanced treatment, and preventive care to improve respiratory health and overall quality of life.
Respiratory Medicine (Pulmonology) deals with diseases affecting the airways, lungs, pleura,Interstitium,Thoracic cage effecting and breathing mechanisms. With the growing impact of air pollution, smoking, and lifestyle-related conditions, specialized respiratory care has become essential.

Senior Professor and Head of the Department of Respiratory Medicine,Narayana Medical College, Nellore
Did M.B.B.S, (1996), M.D (TB &RD), (2002) from Guntur Medical College, Guntur.
Started Medical Teaching carrier as Assistant Professor in Respiratory Medicine Department in Narayana Medical College Nellore, Andhra Pradesh in 2004
Worked as Associate Professor, became Professor & HOD in the same Institute.
During this teaching experience of 20 years in the institute trained many postgraduates as guide and as Internal and External Examiner.
Published scientific papers on ASTHMA,COPD,TB in speciality journals
Gave Guest Lectures in speciality conferences like APSACON,
Conducted P.G CME’s and Public awareness Programmes on ASTHMA,TB,COPD etc.
Did Projects as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator for clinical Drug Trials in association with IIT Chennai and Ministry of Ayush
Contributed as Mortality Committee member,OR(Operational Research) TB member for zone II,NTEP-TB Nodal Officer,Narayana Medical Journal Editorial board member,Mortality Committee member,ART(Anti-Retroviral Theraphy) team member,Pharma Covigilence team member,and also PHD Guide in Narayana Medical College,Nellore.
