Laboratory

The Department of Forensic Medicine includes well-equipped laboratories to facilitate practical training and research. These laboratories provide hands-on experience, helping students understand real-life medico-legal scenarios and forensic techniques.

  1. Forensic Practical Lab: The department of Forensic medicine and Toxicology has practical lab where in we are equipped with x-ray viewing devices, microscopes, and other essential instruments to enable students to have a hands-on experience in learning and analyse various radiographs, forensic histopathological specimens and skeletal remains examination.

  1. RESEARCH LAB: Research labs in forensic medicine play a crucial role in MBBS education by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical medico-legal skills and expose undergraduate students to scientific research in forensic medicine. Allows students to study histopathological specimens, and examine radiographs, providing essential “hands-on” experience in thanatology and trauma analysis.
