Dept. of Community Medicine started the  Family Adoption Programme on 07-07-2022 with formal inaugugration ceremony.  The National Medical Commission has newly introduced the Family Adoption Programme in M.B.B.S curriculum and it will be carried out as part of community Medicine curriculum. The following dignitaries attended the inauguration programme.

            The programme was stated at 11.45A.M. with inviting the guest on to the dias.  Dr. C. Kumar Prof. & HOD Dept. of Community Medicine welcomed the guest and briefly explained about the Family Adoption Programme.  The Dean, Medical Superintendent and Vice Principal addressed the 1^st professional medical students and advised them to participate in the programme actively.

 Dr. Penchalaiah, DM & HO, the Chief Guest of the programme address the gathering and explained the importance of community health care and how the student can help improve the health status of the people in the community.  Followed by felicitated of the guests and vote of thanks.
