As per the directions from the Dr YSR UHS Vijayawada, The NSS Unit of Narayana Medical College, Nellore, successfully conducted an impactful program on the “Evil Effects of Non-Wearing of Helmets” on July 29, 2024, from 10 AM.
We were honoured to have Shri M Bala Murali Krishna, RTO, Nellore, as the Chief Guest, who delivered an insightful lecture on the critical importance of wearing helmets for road safety.
Dr P Sreenivasulu Reddy, Principal, Dr R Viswa Kamar, Vice Principal, Dr D Bala Krishna, NSS Coordinator and Mr Poorna Chandra, RTO Inspector were present for the event.

Program Highlights:
Keynote Lecture: Shri M Bala Murali Krishna addressed the audience on the dangers and severe consequences of not wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers.
Safety Awareness: The program emphasized the role of helmets in preventing serious injuries and fatalities, highlighting real-life examples and statistics.
Interactive Session: Attendees engaged with the Chief Guest, asking questions and discussing ways to promote helmet use and road safety.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the life-saving benefits of wearing helmets and to encourage safe riding practices among the community.
