Department of Community Medicine organized Pulse Polio Immunization for all children in the Narayana Medical College Hospital and living in this campus. All children less than 5 years of age were administered a dose of Oral Polio Vaccine drops. Static booth work was done on 19 Jan and house-to-house work was on 20 Jan. About 150 children were given the vaccine. Narayana Nursing College students helped carry out the activity. The program went off smoothly and successfully.
