Dr. V. Chandrasekhar welcomed the group of postgraduates and faculty from the departments of Community Medicine and Paediatrics. Professors Dr. Sambasiva Reddy, Dr. Ramamohan Desu, Dr. Penchalaiah participated. Dr. Anjana, SMO, NPSP, WHO was the guest speaker.
Dr. Geethanjali and Jayanth administered pre and post evaluation tests.
Dr. Chandrasekhar discussed in detail about the Immunization Programmes since the beginning and focused on the recent developments and various changes that occurred until now.
Dr. Sambasiva reddy discussed the clinical aspects of the diseases Measles and Rubella and AEFI.
Dr. Anjana discussed about the Polio Eradication End-Game strategy, Case based MR Surveillance and the AEFI Surveillance.
Programme was conducted successfully between 9 AM and 4 PM.
