With reference to the above subject and as per the decision taken in the meetings held I am the to state that Narayana Medical college has taken active part in the awareness program me. Six mandals (Rapur, Podalakuru, Indukurpet, T.P.Gudur Kovvur, and Venkatachalam) were allocated to us. Accordingly we have planned 3 buses for each mandal and 50 volunteers (Medical, Dental& Nursing Students) along with one faculty member and a PRO in each bus. They were given in house training by us. They were sent to the designated places and explained about the importance of hand washing and demonstrated the correct technique involving all the 8 steps to the school children and others villagers .The people were very receptive and enthusiastic. Because of heavy rain in the morning there was some delay in reaching the designated centers .However the entire campaign was very satisfactory. All of us from Narayan Medical College congratulate you and the entire team for successfully coordinating the entire programme. We would like to thank you for giving us an opportunity in participating the programme .We have also educated all our non medical staff about the importance of hand Washing and conducted demonstration sessions.
