CINECDEPARTMENT OF RADIO - DIAGNOSIS ZONAL CME WRITE UP
YSRUHS sponsored Zonal CME in Radiology was conducted at NARAYANA MEDICAL COLLEGE on 27th of August (Sunday) from 9.00am to 5.00 pm (under the guidance of Zonal Co-ordinator DR Ankamma rao garu) Nearly 200 + delegates has registered for the CME program , Venue of the CME is Gray’s Lecture Gallery Narayana Medical College . Theme of the CME is CHEST-RADIOLOGY AND IMAGING

Inauguration Program:
Principal of Narayana Medical College – Dr.P.Srinivasula Reddy garu, Academic Director Dr.Narasimha Reddy garu, Medical Superintendent – Dr.Hari Prasad Reddy garu, APMC Observer – Dr.K.Durga garu HOD of Pathology were invited on to the dias.

Academic activities in the department are conducted everyday 8.00am to 9.00am following National Medical Commission guidelines under the supervision of Faculty Doctors.
EQUIPMENT :Several high end equipments including three USG machines are installed in SS ; DOPPLER AND TIFFA areas New 800mA ITV of Allegers ,(IP) and 300mA of Allegers (OP) X-Rays plants have been installed in the year 2022-2023.
Separate area is designated for IR and Observation room and with storage space created for nearly 4000 Teaching Films gifted by our beloved Professor from Hyderabad ,Professor Dr.B.Rama Subba Rayudu.

2021 and 2022 batches PG Students are actively participating in research activity under the guidance of Faculty Doctor’s.
In the recently concluded YSRUHS MD Examination 11 students have successfully passed out of MD Examination.
 Principal Dr.Srinivasula Reddy sir has appreciated the CME program and stressed on skill based learning for all PG students.
Director Academic Dr.P.Narasimha Reddy and Medical Superintendent Dr.Hari Prasad Reddy have appreciated the functioning of the department and suggested to involve many more Faculty Doctor’s in day to day academic activity.
The CME has included basics of Chest –Radiology Identification, (Dr.Sindhura – Assistant Professor), and Congenital/development lesions of the chest (Dr.Sree Divya – Assistant Professor).
HOD of Radiology has given detailed lecture on Solitary Pulmonary Nodules; Basic approach to Interpretation of CT of the Chest,
Dr.Naren Chakravarthi Senior Resident spoke on imaging in lung carcinoma Professor Dr.Uma Maheswara Reddy gave a lecture in detail about the Approach to Interstitial Lung Diseases.
Dr.Sravan Krishna Reddy Assistant Professor spoken on Imaging is Pulmonary TB Dr.Lekhya Sree Senior Resident gave a lecture on Allergic Lung Disorders Dr.Krishna Teja Assistant Professor spoken on Chest Interventional (Vascular & Non-Vascular)
